The Simmons Hunting Rangefinder 600 emits invisible, eyesafe, infrared energy pulses. Digital technology instantaneously calculates distances by measuring the time it takes for each pulse to travel from the rangefinder, to the target, and back. The LRF 600 can be used to measure distances in yard or meters. Simply look through the viewfinder to see the built-in LCD and the unit of measure displayed on the bottom right next to the number.
