Leupold builds its rangefinders rugged and waterproof, anticipating the tough conditions that hunters and shooters will face in the field. Leupold also added plenty of optical extras, including a fully multicoated lens system that produces a bright, pristine image, a fast-focus eyepiece with precision clicks, and a scan mode that continuously updates the range as you track a target or scan an area.
Other features include fold-down rubber eyecups to accommodate users with or without glasses; a CR2 lithium camera battery that's easy to change in the field; a battery power indicator for easy battery level checks; and three selectable reticles. The RX-600 comes with the following accessories: A carrying case with a bungee/hook closure for silent field operation, a battery, a dog clip for attaching to your pack, a lanyard, and an internal pocket for carrying batteries, instructions, and other items.
